Health CareDescriptionThe Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to take care of the mental, emotional or behavioral disorders of Health Center PatientsProvide evidence-based evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients including prescribing medications and/or other psychotherapeutic interventionsDevelop treatment plans, measure progress against the plans, and make adjustments as neededProvide crisis intervention as neededComplete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely mannerCollaborate with a broader team of physicians, nurses, social workers, to assess and adjust treatment plansCoordinate and communicate with case managers, family members and other stakeholders regarding treatment and careParticipate in the teaching of students and other traineesParticipate in departmental and organizational quality improvement programsQualificationsCertified APRN with a clinical specialty in Psychiatry.
All levels of experience considered as well as a desire to work with underserved populations in a multi-disciplinary setting.
