OneWater Marine
DescriptionParts Managers are responsible for the overall performance of the parts & accessory department at their OneWater store.
They are passionate about delighting internal and external customers and achieving or exceeding their volume, inventory and profit goals through effective management of the parts & accessories department.
The position is non-exempt.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintains a neat and orderly parts department, with accessories and supplies neatly merchandised to present a professional appearance and increase salesExecutes successful parts, boating accessories, warranty and return processes and effectively trains parts assistantsEstablish and maintain parts and accessory order process that achieves department goals for margins, fulfillment rates to the service team and inventory turns Ensures accuracy of inventory, controls shrinkage and obsolescence Builds and maintains positive customer and manufacturer relationships to strengthen customer loyalty, reduce order times and enhance dealer reputation Resolves customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner and always looks for ways to better serve our customersMaintains a clean, safe and environmentally friendly parts operation Ensures that the parts team effectively communicates with customers & service team on a timely basis, keeping them proactively informed of the status of their orderSupports General Manager in the execution of successful boat shows, store and off-site sales/customer events, including off site accessory sales as appropriateQualifications & ExpectationsLeads a positive and ethical work environment that attracts, motivates and contributes to retaining high performing team membersHas a continuous learning mindset, develops and maintains a high-level of parts knowledge Analyzes operations and finds ways to increase efficiency and profitability of the parts dept.
Promotes teamwork, and supports other team members, departments and locations to insure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, financing, delivery and subsequent servicing of the boatCustomer satisfaction, both internal and external Computer KnowledgeAchieves or exceeds revenue and profit goals Attention to DetailInventory turns Customer ServiceInventory accuracy Lift 10 lbs infrequentlyOrganization of parts dept.
